Introducing Western Maryland K-2 #207: a stunning brass model of the coal-fired 4-6-2 Pacific. This exquisite piece, imported by Oriental Limited, is part of the second run with accurate details such as a correct boiler length. The boiler jacket has been crafted to match original specifications, as determined by a skilled metallurgical engineer. To achieve the authentic color of the in-service, oiled and rubbed prototype, a buyer may opt to carefully apply crushed pencil lead with a "dry brush" technique. For a more effortless look, simply leave the freshly painted boiler as is after applying the graphite. This one-of-a-kind model is brand new, professionally painted by the late Larry Fuller, and has never been run. It operates on DC power and includes a functional headlight, cab apron, roof vent, and tender water hatch.

Additional Note on Paint - Howard Zane was once a Western Maryland modeler exclusively and would finish his WM models with crushed graphite applied to the boiler. According to him, the WM would rub down the locomotive boilers with oils instead of painting them.
