The Union Pacific challenger class is one of the ultimate articulated locomotives in the world. Built for speed, as well as pulling power, these engines could easily be seen at the front of fast freight, express trains, and would often be used in passenger service. This particular model painted in the grayhound scheme was used for passenger service during the late 1940s and early 50s. This OMI Model is the one you want.
