This finely crafted Great Northern Mikado is a rare, small-production brass model featuring the distinctive wedge plow unique to this class. Originally built as a 2-6-6-2, these locomotives were rebuilt at the GN Shops into the O-5 class between 1922 and 1925. This model accurately represents the locomotive as it appeared in service during the 1940s, complete with the side-facing goat herald.

This model remains in pristine mint condition. It has been test-run and performs flawlessly, meeting the high expectations of collectors familiar with late-run Samhongsa craftsmanship. Equipped with directional constant lighting (no provision for DCC), it features an immaculate paint and finish, free from any flaws.
